Exploring the neuroscience of parenting

Hello! Forrest here. I’m a behavioral neuroscientist and psychobiologist who studies parental care. I am particularly interested in the neural underpinnings of parental care and its consequences for both parent and child health throughout the lifespan. Much of my work has focused on paternal care.

Since January 2021, I’ve been a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University in the laboratories of Drs. Catherine J. Peña (Neuroscience) and Ricardo Mallarino (Molecular Biology).

I am currently supported by a National Research Service Award (F32) from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

I am actively seeking faculty positions.
